It's like cause and effect.
Lately life has been full of lessons, choices, and perspective. But I guess that is what is expected... even though it sometimes is a bit rough. We don't know what the future holds, but the decisions we make now will affect it. Every word that comes out of our mouths, thought that crosses our mind, and action that we choose will single handedly have a say on what happens next. It's a very interesting reality. So, you decide now what you want and strive your hardest to keep that dream alive, and keep that happiness an option. And if it is in His plan, He will help you to reach that goal of yours. But, there will always be things that are thrown your way to try and stop you or alter your desires..to try and test you so you can prove how badly you really want the things you want. And if you aren't set on what you truly want, it is easy to lose your way. Easy to alter what you want in the future for the happiness you think you want at this moment. You need to shoot for the highest and not settle for less, because anything that you want to achieve can happen. You have to stand up for yourself even when it is the hardest thing to do. You have to walk away from that cute boy that can't help you reach that goal of getting married in the Temple. You have to speak up and let yourself be heard so that others can follow your example. You have to leave that group of friends because they aren't doing the kinds of uplifting things that you want in your life. You have to leave that party because maybe it's just not worth being there. You have to say 'no' -probably hundreds of times-so that you can do the things that you want to do later in life. Life is a constant challenge. You take what you get and have to just make the best of it. You have to plan in advance so that you can become strong and equipped for the things that will try and deter you. Don't give up&Don't settle for less.Let's just say I am so grateful for eternal perspective&prayer.
